DESCRIPTION:Sing\, dance\, and play as a family at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the second Saturday of each month. Designed for families with children 5 years old and younger\, Fam Jam is a participatory music-making experience\, led by Museum educators and a guest artist\, that introduces young children to country music instruments and encourages child development through moving\, singing\, and listening. This session will spotlight the banjo and feature **Lockwood Barr**\, a songwriter and banjo player who regularly hosts rounds at the Bluebird Café and has played at festivals across the country. Family music-making promotes language acquisition and the development of cognitive\, social\, and motor skills—and it’s fun! Ages 0-5. Included with Museum admission.
