A Tennessee STEAM Festival Event, presented in partnership with Rutherford Arts Alliance

The Lantern Parade returns to Discovery Center at Murfree Spring for a magical fall evening the whole family will love. As part of the Tennessee STEAM Festival, join us on October 22 for an evening of creativity and community, beginning with hands-on lantern-making at 5:30 p.m. As dusk settles in, gather with friends and neighbors as our glowing procession lights up the night from 6:40 to 7:00 p.m., in partnership with the Rutherford Arts Alliance.

This beloved community tradition is free and open to all — no registration required. Come craft your own lantern and help carry the light through Discovery Center as we celebrate the wonder of science, art, and imagination together.
